For passengers and crew

All you need to know about internet at sea!

How to stay connected during your journey on cruise ships and ferries

Connectivity as we are used to only extends a short distance from land. When the roundness of ourplanet blocks the signals from land, satellites in space come into play. We use highly specialised solutions to send these signals between shore and sea.

It’s cool technology, but it costs more than internet services at home. To connect to the internet while at sea, use data roaming or connect to the onboard Wi-Fi network.

It’s not always easy to know which solution best fits your needs, so we recommend to check the available roaming and Wi-Fi options prior to your trip.
